Crisis Nursery

Kindred Family Services Crisis Nursery Serving Wright County: A Community Based Family Support Program

A crisis may be different things to different people. It may involve medical or mental health issues, loss of employment, job seeking, childcare problems, housing or homelessness, domestic disputes, family separation or divorce, legal issues, financial hardships, etc. Even a new job or new baby can sometimes be overwhelming.

Stress affect different people in different ways and their ability to deal with it varies. Stress sometimes overly affects children and parenting becomes very difficult. If you feel yourself losing control or all alone, and you don’t have the support needed to keep you or your children safe and healthy, you have a place to go to for help and reassurance. We will partner with you to help find some solutions. Sometimes you just need someone to talk to.

Crisis Nursery provides:

  • 24/7 crisis helpline for parents
  • Support, resources, referrals
  • Short-term, temporary safe care for your children (0-12 years) during the day or overnight while you tend to yours or your family’s needs
  • No charge to you for services
